afl-cio introduces obama to its members
many voters are still uncertain about who Barack Obama is, so the AFL-CIO has created a website to introduce Barack Obama to its members. They also sent out a few flyers to households in Michigan and Pennsylvania explaining his positions and defending the rumors that are still being spread about his patriotism.

I love the first line: "Many voters are still unaware about who Barack Obama is. . ."
Really? If they still don't know much about him then they probably aren't voters and they certainly shouldn't be!
Democracy is cool, but it carries certain responsibilities! Irresponsible voters are worse than non-voters.
i agree!
a few months ago, during primary season, I was getting my hair trimmed at a salon in the mall. I started talking to the girl cutting my hair about random local things, mostly IU-related events, and I mentioned Barack Obama coming to IU. She just smiled and listened, and as I got excited talking about it she said,
"Who is Barack Obama?"
oh.. please.. tell me you're kidding. I smiled and explained who he is, and she said 'oh i probably wont vote, I dont follow it' and I wasn't sure if I should be saddened or relieved.
